The incision still a little swollen and sore but no discomfort in the chest. Just a FYI that may or may not have anything to do with my continued palpitations. Since surgery, I have had alot of time on my hands so I spend that on the computer. Under the desk there is a large stereo speaker attched to my mini speakers that I totally forgot was there. I remember reading that speakers may interfere with PM. I've unplugged it and have not had a palp since. Coincidence?

Speaker?

I doubt that was the problem. It is the magnet in the speaker that would cause a problem and it is there whether the speaker is plugged in or not. I would never say for sure in this business though.

Actually, almost none of the things that you hear about are a problem. I'm an electronic engineer and while retired still work around all sorts of things. In fact I took the big woofer speaker out of the back of a Jeep I bought and carried it into the house right up against my chest with no problem.

A lot of the warnings date back to earlier pacers that were a lot more sensitive.

Glad to hear you are doing well. A little soreness in the incision is to be expected. Making that pocket under your skin for the pacer is a brutal process. I was awake while they did it and could feel the pressure.
