Hi everyone, just looked at my European Pacemaker Patient Identification card, it has some symptom codes on it
Symptom Primary : B2, ECG B1, Aetiology B1
Symptom Secondary: ECG E3
Does anyone understand and know what they mean??
On my disscharge letter on implant April'09 it says my condition is Synus Node Disease with Syncope.
Thanks Hayley x

At age 20, I will be getting a pacemaker in few weeks along with an SA node ablation. This opportunity may change a five year prognosis into a normal life span! I look forward to being a little old lady with a wicked cane!

Next time you go for a checkup ask them to give you something explaining the codes.
I would hate to be in some remote small town and have a doctor try to treat B2, ECG B1, Aetiology B1 in an emergency! G(:
