pacemaker,jaundice,blockage in liver

I spoke with the doctor and there are several masses blocking his liver duct's presumed melignent. They are sending him a=back until he can have a biopsy in 1 week. ou would think there would be urgent basis. But there is a waiting list. No one can find any informationon his pacemaker. I'm trying to contact the institution he had it done at. I know they won't give me any info. I've called lawyer'[s. I didn't tell my husband that they think its cancer & there are several masses. He is in too much pain. Am I doing the right thing. Lawyer has not called back

Not pacemaker related

Susan, you're in a tough situation but your husband's problems are not due to the pacemaker. Liver masses blocking the common bile duct have caused the jaundice. Liver masses can be benign meaning noncancerous, some of them can be fluid-filled or fibrous. The CT scan probably showed his masses to be solid, and that's why they need to take a piece of one to determine if it's malignant.
'My advice to you is to concentrate on the liver problems and to support your husband emotionally at this time. You're obviously stressed but you can't be much help to him if you panic. The pacemaker shouldn't even be on your list of things to worry about right now. You'll be in our thoughts. Lenora
