PM under pectoral and aching

I've had my PM for almost a year and no complications for several months. I have been really active lately and the PM area is consistently aching. It is under the pectoral muscle. Has anyone else that has this sort of placement experienced this? The skin above the muscle is not red or particularly hot, so I don't think it would be an infection, but wondering what others have experienced. Thanks.

Mine is under the muscle and gets agitated sometimes when I'm active, esp with something new. It usually goes away on its own.

I still experience pain associated with my implant. My previous EP never said it would be an issue, but my current EP told me I will probably have pain/discomfort as long as I have the implant. As Patch says, it's a foreign metal object moving around, poking "Stuff" and just generally irritating tissue. If the pain is serious, I would still bring it up with your Doc. Mine just sometimes feels like someone stabbed me real quick, but generally the pain doesn't last that long. Sometimes it's a dull pain that hangs around for an hr or 2, but usually goes away.

It is just over 10 years since a dual lead device was implanted for complete heart block. It has worked perfectly and I have traveled well near two million miles internationally since then.
