Update and SVC article link

Hello everyone,

In my last post I wanted to provide the link for the article I mentioned about SVC syndrome becoming an increasing complication with pacer (and assuming ICD) implants. I am not quite sure yet how to incorporate links directly in my posts, so I hope these will work:

Try:
http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/555441 OR

http://www.nature.com/ncpcardio/journal/v4/n4/full/ncpcardio0850.html

This article was just published in this journal just earlier this year. It mentions that clinically silent venous thrombosis is surprisingly common.

As for me, my muscle enzyme came back negative, so muscle damage is apparently not occurring. I am due for my CT scan tomorrow. I was unable to get a quicker appointment. I have noticed that the skin in a part of my arm closest to the pacer is no longer hurting--it's completely numb now. Otherwise I'm still mostly in the status quo.

Thanks for all your feedback!
Dodi
