I'm 35 and got my pacemaker a little over a year ago. It definitely is not a burden to me. In fact, I have more energy (which my husband enjoys), can do more things with my kids and have weight because of having the energy.
Effects of weather

Reports of the weather affecting how we feel have been around forever. I notice an increase in aches and pains when a front is moving in. One theory is the drop in barometric pressure just before a storm. Rain also results in an increase in humidity which can affect us.
So it seems to be possible, but so far no one has come up with a good explanation why.
