Hi everyone. Haven't been on in a little while and hope all are doing well and healing.
I have a question which I know I can get answers on here. I have my next scheduled 6 month checkup for the end of November. I got a dual lead pacemaker for 2-1 heart block in February 2010. Just this past week I have been feeling my heart beating which had happened before my last checkup. At that time I was "tweaked" a bit and it felt much better. I have recenlty lost 20lbs and didn't know if this could be part of the problem. Or is it just possible I am pacing more and can feel it when I do. I have no shortness of breath, it is just a weird sensation.
Because of my fibromyalgia I am so aware when something seems different. I am also on nexium twice a day for acid reflux which doesn't cause heartburn, but a fullness in my chest, almost like a bubble feeling.
I am going to call the EP's office tomorrow to see if I can get in before the 6 month checkup, but any information from all of you would be greatly appreciated.
Have a great Sunday and be well all.
Marcia

I feel mine frequently

Not sure if we become more sensative to the strange feelings since we have been through heart issues but I feel mine frequently. I guess I would rather feel it than not :) I would take note and discuss with you physician if it is an issue for you.
Take care.

Probably just noticed it.

Doesn't sound like anything serious. I feel mine anytime I am quiet. Kind of reassuring! Now the time a a couple of years ago when mine started skipping 4 beats in a row that got my attention, and I was glad I was aware of it.
