New Member Police Officer with PM/ICD

I'm a Police Captain with over 32 years on a county police agency on the east coast. I received my St. Jude's PM/ICD on 1/12/09, and a month later I'm feeling great. I started my workouts last week to begin the road back to running and lifting again. I'm still on light duty/restricted duty at work (can't wear a gun or uniform and have to work my regular administrative job). Any police officers out there that have returned to full duty with a PM/ICD? Joe in VA

Hi Joe,

I sent you a reply to your in box, I just took a medical retirement after 20 years in Law Enforcement. Tough decision to give it up, but in the long run it was the right thing for my situatioin.
