I'm doing OK

Hi everyone,
Sorry so long since the last post, but now I actually have stuff to say. Nope, I'm still not out of the hospital and not only am I not out, Bram has decided to join me, but in the ICU. He has another lung infection, quite serious this time. I also found out that I need more heart surgery probably next week. They did an echo this week and discovered that one of my valves isn't working properly. They say it could be from the infection. They need to go in and fix that. Physio is going so well that once this surgery is over with and I have recovered completely I could probably go home. Finally excited to hear that! It will be a few weeks and quite frankly, with Bram in the hospital so sick, I"m not even really thinking about it much since my mind is on other things like Bram.
Just so that you know Bram is on a vent in ICU and heavily sedated. They did surgery today to remove a mass in his chest which is probably contributing to the infection if not the cause of it.
That's all for now. Very tired.

I am so sorry to hear about Bram and I was hoping you would be out of the hospital by now too!! You have been through so much and I am still praying for you and now for Bram. If you need to just talk let me know!! BIG HUGS!!

Taryn, thank you for letting us know how you and Bram are. Your "post" sounds like you are making progress. Bram, well, he will be on the mend soon.

You two have been thru a whole lot together and supporting each other during the long, way back to normal. We know you both are wonderful people.

Taryn,
You are so strong and are doing so well. I am so proud of you. My prayer is for continued strength for you so that you can have this surgery and be on the mends to a complete recovery.
You are such a great sister and friend to your brother. I know and can't even imagine how hard it is not to be able to spend every minute with him taking care of him. I am sure he feels the same way about you. I am praying for Bram and know that God is watching over him and things will come together.
