I'm fixed!

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that I had surgery this morning for the 3 blood clots that they have been trying to figure out. They finally decided on Wedensday to operate which required a full day of testing to make sur eit was safe and then I had it this morning. It was a 3 hour surgery, but they got everything out. The clot in ym arm is gone and so is the one in my leg and as for the one in my abdomen, it's gone too, but caused a few beelding issues so they had to stop the blood thinner and transfuse me a few unit of blood. I'm in the ICU for the night and will be moved back to my regular room as long as everything remains the way it is right now. If everything goes as planned they are saying that i could go home as soon as next week. i will have a live in nurse for a bit to keep an eye oin things and then gradually move to a nurse who stays for the day since my parents don't want me alone. We'll take it step by step right now, but all looks good.

Delighted to hear of this breakthrough and hope you'll soon be on your way home, then you can begin your convalescence and start enjoying life once again - just in time for Christmas. Great news. Heaps of love, Sheila
