I forgot to take my medicine

Oops,
Today should be interesting. I already feel heavy chested, and that has nothing to do with my bra size. LOL.
I'm wondering if I should leave work and drive the 30 miles home to take it. I just might have to. Just peachy!
I've never forgotten to take my meds before since the pacemaker was implanted. Do ya'll think I'll be alright just for today? Just wondering?

if you miss one day should be okay cause the drugs stay in your blood. hope this helps..........

It should say on the insert with your prescription what to do if you miss a dose. Some meds aren't that important and others are serious enough that you shouldn't drive home.

Some examples:
Insulin: Why worry, the worse that could happen is you would die.

Viagra: Now this is serious. LOL

You didn't say which meds.you take .Tthis is the important question.Generaly when you remember is forbidden to take your dose twice(like antyarrhythmic drugs or warfarin).IF i would know which drugs you take maybe i could answear you more specific.

Hi there,

Just to let you know that I have forgotten to take my meds on one ocassion. I rang my dr from my office and she said not to worry. As Jessie says the meds stay in your system so don't worry too much.
Worse than that I have once taken a double dose on going to bed. That really worried me as I was frightened to go to sleep in case I didn't wake in the morning. I rang the hospital and again my mind was put at rest. I'll make sure I don't do it again though!!!!!!
