We share very similar paths. Just wondering how she's doing post AV node ablation.
Let us know how you're doing, girl.

That sucks!
We really do have a lot in common. As far as Murphy's Law. If it's going to happen, it's bound to happen to us.
I hate that you're continuing to have problems. Hang in there, and keep us posted.
So sorry dear. My goodness. You'll be in my thoughts.

Sorry Angelie! I haven't been on the site lately as there's been a lot going on. The AV node ablation appears to have been a success. At my last interrigation they said I was still in atrial fib 20% of the time. I haven't noticed at all - the symptoms are gone! I actually thought that I'd be in a-fib more often than that considering I'm no longer on anti-arrhythmia meds.
The bad news is that my breathing problems (which I thought were caused by the non-stop a-fib) haven't gone away. Actually, they've gotten worse. Apparently my mitral valve is leaking badly. I have Shone's complex which is a combination of multiple birth defects in the heart. I've already had my aortic valve replaced with a mechanical one and it sounds like my mitral valve will have to be replaced in the next couple of months. If it's not one thing it's another! Enough is enough already!!!
Hanging in there,
Cindy
