PM Implant

I had my pacemaker implanted under my left breast tissue, much like how they would implant when doing a breast augmentation. I have had problems finding bras to fit, and when I wear underwires, I end up quite sore. I am 8 weeks post op, and otherwise am feeling quite good.
The other issue I have had is finding a jog bra. When I run it feels really uncomfortable. Has any one else had this problem?
Thank so much for all your help!
Kristin

This website is excellent for detailed info on almost any bra. Also, I guess you could also contact them for recommendations.

For a sports bra, would a seamless cami bra work?

while healing

Mine is behind the breast also but it's put in from the side. I had it replaced 8 weeks ago and am just now able to wear a few of my bras for a few hours. I've been getting by with the tank tops from Old Navy with the built in shelf bra.

You might need to heal some more before jogging. I'm working out again but only low impact, anything else shakes things up too much. It's usually a good 3 months after a replacement before I can do anything I want with no pain or soreness. This is my 4th replacement. Sometimes it feels like forever while I'm waiting out the healing, but I've ended up able to wear what I want and do what I want without any problems after each surgery. The wait is well worth it, I never know it's there other than these weeks after a new battery.

bra

Hi,
My implant is also in my left breast. I got my implant in September and I still cannot wear a "regular" bra b/c the straps pull the bottom band into the implant and the pressure is horrid (as you know). So what I found were the Cacique 5 in 1 convertable bra's from Lane Bryant and I wear them as strapless bra's every day, if you need smaller sizes I think they have them at like NY and Co. Turns out they're more comfortable than a "regular" bra too. They offer a ton of support without the upward pressure on the implant.
For a sports bra, that's a bit more difficult to find, I haven't found one that is comfortable and doesn't cause issues with the implant. I have ended up wearing the same style cacique 5 in 1 at the gym b/c it really does offer great support and keeps everything from flying around, even as a strapless. In fact, I like it better than any sports bra I've ever had.
If you do find a sports bra that works though, let me know! :-)

Thank you all so much for all your help. JustMe...I have found a jog bra that works, but I will have to check on the name brand for you. It zips in the front and puts enough pressure on the breast so that they don't move too much when you run.
Thank you also for the websites! I can't wait to check them out.
