Broken Hearted Jane

What are you going to do as your screen name when your heart is no longer broken? I should hope that one of the reasons you're now here is that it's fixed. (At least that's what I hope)

LOL!

pre-syncope??

by Sparky - 2009-01-23 01:01:07

Interesting letters from you and biolady - I have had my PM since '06 and ever since have had these pre-syncopes (almost faints. I call them brownouts as I have never blacked out) yet What intrigues me is how orderly they are - they come every 4-6 weeks, first one always wakens me in the early morning and they come hourly maybe as few as 6 and as many as 20 then as suddenly as they come - they go??/ They are horrible-I feel as tho I am crashing - then they pass off sometimes leaving me nauseous, shaky, tingly but otherwise OK
I can find no reason, nothing that triggers them. They dont seem to do much to my heart as the PM clinic doesn't 'see' them when they check my pm They see the a-fibs OK tho
Can anyone help? Dr. doesnt seem worried

It's funny because I immediately feel depressed for you when I see your name. I just wanna perk ya up.
I'm glad to hear that you're not really broken hearted.

I could've gotten creative with my screen name, but "Titanium Titty" was already taken. Darn......just my luck.

Seems like your post and questions might get more attention if you had placed your reply maybe under the syncope survey post.
But it's all good. Maybe someone will see your questions here. It's usually best though to keep replies under similar categories. It makes it easier to track, and less confusing if we all keep the topics together.

:)

I've had my pacer/defibrillator for about seven years now, and have been making jokes like this ever since. It hasn't always gone over so well within this forum (oops..), but I'm planning on keeping it until I no longer find it funny. When I first signed up, I did some brainstorming with my sister and we came up with some other good ones---I will try to remember what they were.

You know you're wired when...

You invested in the Energizer battery company.

I have a well tuned pacer. I hardly know I have it. I am 76 year old, hike and camp alone in the desert. I have more energy than I have had in a long time. The only problem is my wife wants to have a knob installed so she can turn the pacer down.
