ICD EROSION

I have had a icd unit for 3 years now with no problems. I work as a stagehand and had a 25 lb reasonable lifting accomadation from my employer. Last June my managers scheduled me to work a show which required heavy lifting of arial gymnasts for their routines.I had requested prior to this show not to be scheduled to work due to my disability. The request was denied by my managers. As a direct result of lifting over 300lbs in a 4 day rehearsal my icd unit dislodged to underneath my left arm and broke through the skin. My employer has denied my injury was work related.
I am wondering if there is anyone with similar injury or complications as mine seems to be unique.

Were you directly pushed or struck on your ICD site?

INow, if I was directly pushed/struck on my ICD site, I'm sure it would tear the stitch that holds it in place and maybe tear/damage the skin.

Just from lifting, though I don't know. I personally workout and lift over 300 lbs on a weekly basis. My ICD has remained exactly where it was placed 2.5 years ago.
