Hi Everyone,
I walked passed the apple store which just opened , enormous place and I had this unusual pain like whack on the left side where my pacemaker is.

All that separated me from the store was huge glass windows and lots and lots of computers .
After feeling a little funny not thinking anything , I kept walking and then thought that was strange and also I became a bit wobbly on the legs.
Even now at home I feel weak, tired like I was void of all energy.

Not sure whether it was the whack in the chest that triggered me off something near all the computers.
Any ideas??? Or it was not related.

Thanks appreciate any comments.
I know once when I held a bag of magnets in my hand inadvertantly I nearly passed out and went wobbly at the knees like I did today and threw the magnets out of my hand when i realised what may have happened.

It could have been the security system as 2 stores were side by side also and both had the multiple security systems on the entrances that you walk through in virtually metres in proximity and also metres from me.

There were 4 on the entrances of each store so 8 in all within metres of one another. I never thought anyhting of them as you just often stroll through a store not even noticing but maybe so many in a close clusteer , who knows.

Yes I am wary of the magnets , it was a bizarre feeling with them.

Thanks again for comment.

security

Sometimes I can feel it if I get too close to some security systems. It doesn't do any damage, though, it's just a magnet so as soon as you get away from it things will go back to normal. I go through them but I don't dally. Even if that caused what you felt, there's no reason why it would still affect you later.

not likely

Call and ask to be checked, but it's not likely it was anything in the store. In the unlikely event their security system caused problems, which would be more likely than the computers and other Apple toys, you'd feel fine again as soon as you walked away from it. Something happened, hopefully interrogating the pm will shed some light on it.

The magnets, yes, they could easily have caused the problems you had earlier. The pm has a switch in it, a magnet can pull that switch closed and put it in the same mode as when they interrogate it. It's still pacing but with limited function and you'll definitely feel it if you are dependent. As soon as the magnets are more than 6" from your device, the switch opens and it goes back to full function with no harm done.

You know you're wired when...

You’re officially battery-operated.
