2nd follow-up due in August

Well, I've just competed my first year with Pac-Man. Generally, things have gone well. I've had a few other issues over the past 12 months, but it turns out that, with minor exceptions (i.e. a brief bout of tachycardia attributable to SSS), they've been unrelated to my PM.
Just to refresh the memory of those who have seen my postings before, I am a 59 year-old male competitive swimmer who was given a pacemaker in May 2010. I had been diagnosed with type 2 AV heart block and bradycadia, but the surgical report showed that the syncope that put me in hospital was due to Sick Sinus Syndrome. The first follow-up was on August 2, 2010 and showed that I was pacing at 2%.
I am due for my second follow-up at the pacemaker clinic on August 4th of this year.
I must admit that I know very little about that little box in my shoulder, and I usually just nod politely when the doctor or technician tells me anything.
I'm asking the community for assistance in preparing a list of questions I should ask and information I should have, prior to my check-up.

Wish I was at 2%. I was a year on Nov. 24th and I am checked every 3 months on the phone and every 6 months at the office and have to see the heart dr.

Make a list of questions if you have any. Did you ever look up your type of pacemaker on the computer to know what it looks like and how it functions? I looked at mine on an x-ray and one lead is a bit too long and as far as I am concerned it will stay that way until it no longer works.

Tell them if you ever feel uncomfortable, pain, swelling or maybe just great. I go with a list of many questions. Yesterday I spent the whole day in an irregular beat from morning till late last night - exhausting. I took meds throughout the day that did nothing so when my hubby came home I took a sedative and that finally worked.
