Worsening Condition

Hi all. Just to update you. As some of you may remember, I've been having lots of dizziness problems since my ablation in July. My EP has been investigating. I am waiting to have a 24 hour BP monitor test in January.

However, in the last 2 weeks my condition has suddenly worsened & I have an urgent appointment to see my EP tomorrow.

I have had bad chest pain for the past week & terrible palpitations again for 2 weeks. Also feel exhausted all the time.
The Dr's think my arrhythmia may be coming back, hence the urgent appt tomorrow.

Am quite worried.

Best wishes
Janey

I'm sorry to hear you're going through such an anxious time, however, I am very glad to read that you're being seen quite quickly.

I forget, but have you ever had the tilt table test? If not, I'd be asking for that one for sure!!!!!! I'd also be asking for an ultrasound/echo of my heart.

Don't give up hope...there is an answer out there!!!

Hugs,
Pookie

A PM for Christmas?

by Daffy - 2010-12-17 03:12:05

hi Janey,

I am sorry to hear you are having such problems. Your story is similar to mine. I had an ablation in Sept.. then another Holter monitor in October and an echo in Nov.

I still had dizziness and chest pain and shortness of breath. I didn't really want a PM, by my 2 cardiologists insisted I needed it. So better sooner than later. I am getting my PM on Dec. 23rd. Perhaps you can join me and get your PM before Christmas, too. Everyone says you will feel better right away when the gadget starts working!

Let us know what the doctor says. I'll be praying for you.

Blessings to you from Daffy
