Do you wear a Medic bracelet?

I just went online and ordered the prettiest Medic bracelet for myself. The website is Creative Medic ID http://creativemedicalid.com/inc/sdetail/19762/post/
I was able to design a nice one with all kinds of beautiful beads and even 14k charm. They engrave it for free too.
I put on mine, Pacemaker, then my doctors name and the name of my Heart Hospital because I didn't know what else to put.
Do you have one and what is on yours?

Has enough room for all my info on it. Almost came in handy the other day when I got broadsided by an SUV riding my bike and landed head first. Luckily I bought a really good helmet this year (now need to get a new one) and I never did lose consciousness but I easily could have. Highly recommend one for anyone who has a medical condition and RoadID is great for anyone who does outdoors type stuff. Never know when you might need it.

I bought mine from StickyJewelry.com
It says pacemaker & has my meds listed. I wear the charm on a Pandora bracelet.

So what is good information to put on them? I didn't think my name and address was nessessary only that I had a pacemaker, my doctor and what hospital. I guess if I go out of town I should have other stuff? What do you think?

One of these 2 PM members above 'commented' about 2 places to get bracelets and/or the metal medic alert tags. I get my bracelets from Lauren's Hope ~ email:
newsletter@laurenshope.com
Thier bracelets are so pretty and so many varieties, and they always have up to 20% off on bracelets, luggage tags, animal tags, etc. They usually have a lil' charm, 'Hope' attached for free (I have so many bracelets now, I can't get them all worn ~ LOL). They offer the medic alert tags to go with their bracelets, but I prefer ones I like more from another company. I have looked and looked on my email, etc. for the company name/email address, but I can not find it. Maybe, which ever one gave me these 2 names of the companies, will 'comment' to you with the medic alert tag co. name.

Either way, Lauren's Hope is a good, reliable co. and does have durable, pretty bracelets and allows up to 5 lines free. My medic alert tag reads:
Pacemaker/Warfarin
51263662--/263/57--
63658--/43168--

The above is the 'med alerts', then 4 phone #'s of my nearest kin/contacts. I used the area code on the first phone # just to indicate it would be the same area code on all the numbers. I did not put my Dr/EP names because I can alway be changing Dr's.

Hope this helps,

I am designing mine.. it will have

name
"pacemaker dependant"
allergy to: ...
ICE - phone number to emergency contact

as an emergency responder we like to see full name, allergies, what exactly you have located in your chest, and who we can call in case of emergency.

Your emergency contact should be someone that knows about your medical condition and medications.

If you carry a wallet, information that is useful is medications, specifics of pacemaker/ICD, doctors name and phone, any and all medical conditions, and addition emergency contacts.

I called the company and redesigned it. I will have just a monogram on the front and Pacemaker, my name, and an ICE number of my husbands. It worked better.
I appreciate all the suggestions everyone made. Now I can't wait to get them. They said about 3 weeks.
I think I too will make some more of my own. Sounds like a good idea sbunders. Thanks
