hi, i joined this club because i wanted to know if there was any other people out there that is tortured by constant PVC"S after the incertion of a pacemaker. i only had 2 episodes of feeling like i was gonna pass out last december , for just a few seconds each time. my heart dr didnt try medications or anything... it was like boom he put this crap in my chest and as soon as i woke up in recovery i was having horendous PVC's. he refuses to acknowledge that the pacemaker is causing it. im miserable. he wants to put me onpropafenone hcl and cut back half on my beta blocker. im realy freaked out about it. ive been on beta blockers for 30 years , they helped with the simple palipitation i always had. now since the pacemaker... they no longer work. im scared of arithmia meds.
my dr is mad at me cause i wont take it. i guess i have a #2 block. i dont know as i even believe it.

Pvcs and pacs are both a nusiance. I've been told they are harmless also. My electrocardiologist wont use a Med for them. I have sometimes 10,000 a month. It depends. I understand the discomfort of them though.

Maybe they'll have to tweak the meds some more until they get it right.

I am just grateful to God that I lived long enough to have my ICD put in. So many people are not as lucky as us; even though we sometimes don't feel lucky.

When did you have it put in? Has it been awhile? It might just be your body reacting to it. It is a foreign object sometimes it just needs awhile to adjust to it. Just saying.
