Soreness

I have had my pacemaker two days shy of two months. I was pretty sick prior to complete heart block diagnosis so was slow with initial recovery. I had been amazed at how much better I felt until a couple days ago. Just after digging through old drawers and boxes, I have had aching in my left shoulder and the area next to the incision which is healed. I assume I pulled a muscle. How many days of soreness shall I tolerate and attribute to overdoing before it makes sense to go back to the doctor. At my check up last month, my leads and battery were fine

Recovery time

is different for everyone. It sounds like you're doing fine.Your muscles have relaxed and they're not used to all this activity, (the surgery and new movement since you're feeling stronger) so they'll take a little time to adjust. I did the same thing after my first implant. I felt so good, I started cleaning house and doing "normal" activities, but then the soreness would start up again. Just try to relax, keep doing normal activities, just don't over do it and everything will heal and be fine before much longer.
Best wishes!!

To tell you the truth I never even give it a second thought. While growing up it never stopped me from doing anything and to this day my girlfriend or my kids need to remind me that I have one!
