checkup

Had my 6 month check-up. All was well. I can now go walking without feeling like I’m trying to go though knee deep snow. Seems my drugs to keep my heart rate down weren’t  allowing my heart to adjust to my activity level and the activity thingy wasn’t on in my PM.  Now it is on and is so much better and I’m not going crazy thinking I am. Thanks for all the information that allowed me to ask the right questions this trip. Have a very Merry Christmas everyone or happy whatever you personally celebrate.

That's great news!!!!!!!! Now you will be able to walk through the snow - if we ever get any, eh?

really don't want much snow. Feels so good to be able to go walking again. Really was feeling doubtful if I would ever be able to. Glad that weird feeling is gone.

are you on beta blockers? the reason I ask is my dad is on Metoprolol and feels like a slug. I keep suggesting to him that he ask about the one that starts with "bis"...forget the name.

not sure

Im still trying for figure out how i feel and why. I was told by my cardiologist that it focuses more on the pace than the metoprolol. He said it is more rhythm focused, so im not sure what the difference is. To be honest I am on so many medications that i don't know that I feel any different from one or another. I will warn that the first time they tried me on it, I didn't do well becuase I got really light headed and my rate dropped. But with the pacer I tolerate it much better. I hope it helps...
