Finally It's my turn!

Hello!
Finally I'm on a count down to having my PM implant. I leave tomorrow morning. I have to be at the hospital at 6:30 Tuesday morning but we live 165 miles from the hospital so we will have to spend tomorrow night in a motel. I'm excited and a little anxious at the same time. I'm suppose to only have to stay overnight so I'm hoping to be home on Wednesday.

We spent the weekend at the cabin with all the grandkids and their spouses. We had a great time and the time went fast. I didn't want to stay home for the weekend and think!

Thank you to all my friends here. I'm not sure what shape I would be in without you.

Hi Sally! Glad you got to spend time with the grandkids over the weekend. Like you I was excited and anxious about the unknown. I hope your procedure goes really smoothly. I'm 10 days post implant and feel great. I actually have to keep reminding myself to take it easy with my left arm! Keep us posted on how everything goes!

All will be good Sally

that was a good thing to do to get away and keep your mind off of it, that is the worst part is the waiting for a procedure, the mind is a powerful thing when something like this happens. Youll be fine and thoughts and prayers are with you thru your procedure. Youll be back soon. When you get home do the same thing, keep your mind occupied, do what the docs tell you to do and it will all be good. After implantation is done if you have any dizzeness, shortness of breath, pain, or any questions you may have for the doctor on your upcoming appointments write them down so you dont forget to ask or tell them off something, trust me you go in and have things you want to ask and as soon as your going home oh crap i forgot to ask this or that, it happens it happened to me and one of my friends on here told me to write down what happened and what I was doing when it did or question you come up with weeks before appointment, it was one of the best advise I had been given.
Prayers and thoughts with you

Glad you enjoyed the grandkids for the weekend.

Eager & Anxious....great mix :)

You'll do just fine and we can't wait to hear from you when you're comfy enough to tell us all about your new "buddy".

Take care,
Pookie
