post pm advise

I am 39 years old and had a pm put in 6 days ago for bradycardia. For the most part I feel a lot better but I run out of gas very easily still. Not sure when I should start feeling back to normal. I did stop smoking about a month ago and am very itchy off and on mostly neck chest and abdomen. I am not on any medication and this started before I got my pm. The itching is not as bad but still having some. Anyone else have this problem or have any advise.

Congratulations on not smoking! You should be very proud of yourself! No experience with the itching since it was prior to your PM but as far as your energy level everyone has different experiences. For myself it took several setting changes for me to feel right. I am 41 and we all have different PM needs. I learned quickly through this site to keep going back to your DR until you are back to "normal". The more info you can give them the better so maybe make a note of what you were doing when you run out of energy. I would also make note of my vitals as well when I was not feeling good. We all also recover at different rates. Your body may also be in recovery mode as well.

Take care!

Don't worry it gets easier

You're only 6 days out. Don't worry it gets better. I'm 31 and 3 & half months out now and feeling better all the time. I still get winded easily at times, but I'm back to my normal daily routine. Walking, hiking, biking, driving. I have noticed that I need a lot more water now that I did before, and I've always been a big water drinker. So you may want to try to stay extra hydrated. If you're anything like me it will improve you're overall recovery. Congrats on not smoking, it's tough to give up. But well worth it, especially if you have a heart condition. Your young and you want to have a full life ahead of you. Good luck with everything. Anna
