pacemaker

Hi just would like someone to help, I had catheter ablation done about a year ago for inappropriate sinus tachycardia.  My doc told me this worked but my heart rate dropped so I had to have a pacemaker put in, it was set at 60.  Then a few weeks later my fast heart rate came back so after a few months of hospital visits they put a ECG monitor on. They said at the time my palpitations showed I was atrial pacing so again I’ve had another monitor fitted for a week and my rate responsive pacing switched off, why have they done this, I don’t under stand.  They also said they don’t  think I need it turned back on until I go back to see my consultant, when I had the ECG monitor on I also had many palpitations so to me this does not have anything to do with pacemaker

I'm 35 and got my pacemaker a little over a year ago. It definitely is not a burden to me. In fact, I have more energy (which my husband enjoys), can do more things with my kids and have weight because of having the energy.
