Hello

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted. Things have been going south for me, I can’t work, I can’t go to college, and my body tingles all the time. I have constant migraines and severe depression. I’m now trying to get on disability, if they’ll even accept me. I’m just really down. I’m terrible lonely, and I just feel useless. Sorry, I just really needed to vent. My heart races a lot and makes me dizzy, yet the doctors do nothing, they prescribe medicine that made me black out and made me hallucinate. Just feeling awful. I’m still stuck at home and miserable, and feel like no one will ever want me because of all my issues.

way, Alex. I just read your bio & your so young. Have you got a 2nd opinion? Have you seen anyone about the depression you mentioned? It surely seem that they can help you get on with your young life with all the great medical things they can accomplish. Please keep in touch with the group. That is what we are here for-to support each other.

Thinking of you,

Janet

Hey Friend!

Alex,
I know life is really hard for you right now. I've told you this already and will tell you again search for other opinions. You need to do that for yourself. I know that depression is really getting to you and its very hard when you don't feel good and have pain. Though, you have to remember the positive stuff as we all do.
Keep fighting the battle and know that people care about you on this site. I pray for you often and really hope you are able to rest better. Take care of yourself. Don't give up and find a different Dr that will listen to you and help you.
Oh and drink more fluids. ( I know you tell me you're but tests say differently so drink more. It may just help you with some of the way you feel.) Remember dehydration can cause your heart to feel weird also.

Take Care,
Tammy

Been there!

Alex....
Been there! Many of us have...and...we do survive it. I can tell you from personal experiences that each day comes with new hope and promise. As difficult as it may seem, work on your feelins first. I mean the psychological ones first. Depression is like an anchor in the water. You won't be able to move forward. Think about the good times you had and the good times that lay ahead. There will be good times to look forward to. Then or together...you seek other medical advice. Get a few opinions. It won't be easy...but..I know you can do it, as so many others are doing it. Keep me posted...and..let's talk.

maybe you cannot get enough of your own mojo to get going. reach out to someone, friend or family for that extra push. they are as worried about you as you are of yourself. when you are depressed we are stuck in one position, sitting or sleeping. get up and call someone. this person may be the one you never would have expected to give you the push. most importantly call MD for another opinion. do not let it (depression get you, you get it first) prayers and thought,
jan
your fix may be simple and not as complex as you are thinking it is. let's hope

Now this might sound strange, but sit in front of the mirror and laugh and laugh and laugh.

Laughing releases feel good endorphines into the body, it's worth a try.

Also, I dont know if you are able to exercise, but again it is one of the things that makes you feel better.

We are all here with you, as Tammy said try other doctors. I know you said you cant go to college but is there anything that you can join, where you will be meeting people, any social group of any kind.

I hope you start to feel better soon

Hang in there. Start exercise program, spring is coming. It will start to be warm, sunny and pretty out. Go to another doctor, their are so many doctors out there to try. If I am not satified, I try a new one ! Sometiimes not all doctors and patient fit. Maybe you need new meds, new doctor and soon your outlook will be wonderful. Blackouts are sometimes caused by low heart rate, do you take meds for that ? Please go to a different doctor. Take care, Laurie
