Just ruined more clothes

Hi Thanks for the help with sleeping on my belly eventually. Has anyone else had problems with their site opening and draining? I had tremendous bruises from failed implant, the implant actual site is healing well but the huge bruise from the failed attempt has opened and because it is old blood draining not fresh red blood everything I leak on is getting stained. The nurse told me to put a pressure dressing on it to get it stopped but the old blood needs to get out of there for me to continue healing so I have just been covering with a loose bandage to save my clothes. There is no redness or pus and it feels so much better now that is is draining I am loathe to try to stop it. Do you think that the loose bandage and keeping it clean is the way to go or should I try to stop it like the nurse said. I can’t see anyone til Monday anyway. other than having sprung this leak I feel so much better than before this thing was installed, 32 beats a minute was doing no one any good. Everyone says I look great, Kind liars, all of them. I’m 58 and look everyday of them. hope you can help this time too.

Bruises

Sorry to hear you are going through a rough time.
Many year ago I received bruising from surgical clips which were treated roughly and I suffered from awful bruising in my scar line. It was from an abdominal operation and the pain was so incredible I could not stand up strait.

Eventually it was necessary for a syringe to be used to drain the old blood. I can remember the sheer relief. So think of the old adage: better out than in. Obviously your body wants to get rid of the "junk" if it was me I would do the same.

Eventually you will be able to put a pressure bandage on it when it has drained. This is not medical advice and I could be wrong but having lived in isolated areas all my life, like you one tends to follow their own instinct.

Hope you are well soon and hope this helps
