Tomorrow is the day

I have to be at the hospital at 5 AM (a horrible hour) for 7:30 surgery. I'm nervous, but looking forward to the results. Also looking forward to 24 hours sleeping, reading and relaxing in the hospital. I appreciated reading all the comments to the person who just had an ablation and has now been told she needs a PM. It seemed every word written was just for me. I have gotten more information here about what happens "after" than I have from my doctor. Thank you all for being here.

Merry Christmas from Daffy

Glad you found our posts helpful! No one wants one of these things, but in the grand scheme of things it's just a tiny blip on the radar. I've always been grateful to have a problem that can be fixed, it could be so much worse.
If you have any more questions about after, let us know!

something I've never heard from a dr but figured out on my own through my 4 replacements .... take a button up top along to the hospital. You won't want to be pulling anything over your head for at least a week or two.

Wishing your doctor a most excellent day and you a fast recovery.

Good idea

Thank you Tracey. I had planned to take a big soft sweatshirt, but now I will look through my closet to find a button up that is warm and soft.

And you're right.. there are many more things worse than this. I still just wish I could have skipped this "blip"! I'm 72m but I still think I'm too young for this!

I'll post again when it's done.

Just wanted to add my Welcome to the Board.
This is a great place for information, but it is a better place to meet some of the greatest people in the world!

Welcome and keep us posted on this "blip" in your Young life.

Merry Christmas

Just writing to let you know that we wish you the very best and please let us know how you are doing when you feel up to it.

Hi

Hi Daffy-I hope everything went well for you on the 23rd and that you have had some time to recuperate and start feeling better. I am not sure about all the details of my device, settings etc. I will know more details in March. I hope the new year brings you new hope and renewed health.
