Happy birthday to me! Pacer birthday!

Just wanted to pass along how good I feel after just having my celebration today of my 4th birthday with my metal friend Mr. T. My titanium buddy. I don't wear bling around my neck like Mr. T but I wear my pocket watch under the skin like a badge of honor. I want to thank my friends on the pacemaker club for the four years of helping me to feel like a regular person. Also for making me feel normal not weird like I felt when I got out of surgery. You guy's got me through the tough times when I was doing the why me stuff.
I have had a great 4 years and hope for many more I feel as good now as I ever did maybe better. I can do anything I ever did and hopefully better as I now have a different outlook on life. Trust me newbies you will also be celebrating your pacer birthdays and loving them just as I do. Just give it time. Bowlrbob

Bob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy 4th re-birthday! I love how you call your pm Mr. T...too clever!

I just celebrated my 3rd on the 12th. Thank you for being there for me during my first year. It was so great having someone with the same problem who can relate. I hope you and the wife are getting in some good travel and that you are winning some $$$ bowling!

Celebrate on my young friend!

I'm glad to hear someone happy about their little friend. I get my first Monday, 11/2/09.

I've got simple Bradycardia due to bigeminy. Started after by CABGx3 three+ years ago, but has degraded since. At rest, my pulse drops to the upper 30's. And I sit at a computer screen all day at work! My concentration is definitely affected.

When I exercise, my pulse rate smooths out. I climb nine stories of stairs at least twice per day, and often walk a mile. I have to monitor my pulse when I climb stairs or jog to stay below 140.

So, again congrats. And thanks for the positive story.

Happy 4th birthday

A pacemaker completely solved my problem. In fact, it was implanted just 7 weeks ago and I ran a race today, placed first in my age group.
