Is the yellow patch a yellowish tinge to the skin surface? If so, it may be what was used to clean the skin. Rubbing Alcohol may take it of. I'd stay away from the suture line tho. Have you been seen by the Dr or staff post-op? If not, call about the area that doesn't want to heal.

Hope this helps,

Janet

Time....

it will wash off with age, it takes a few weeks for that to completely go away. If its the plastic kind, it will slowly disappear when you clean that area when youve been cleared to do so

It's probably betadine

The yellow patches are probably the betadine solution that you were "sanitized" with before the surgery started. The area is scrubbed with this solution to clean off bacteria from the skin. It is iodine, so it leave a yellow tinge, but eventually wears off. Wait for the area to heal, then just use warm soap and water on a soft wash cloth to clean off.
