St Judes home monitor

Hello everyone , I have had, since 1988, 9 pacemakers fitted the last one of which was a St Judes fitted last year due to an infection in the previous one caused by a fall and damage to the pacemaker site. I have also been given a home monitor which is supposed to keep check on my 'performance'. As far as a check towards the end of last year this was working fine but over the last few days my moitor had started to bleep on the 'tower' sign during the day for some reason and I have had to reset. I have tried to contact St Thomases Hospital in London but have not got a responce as yet. Has anyone had a similar problem please?
Thanks for any response and Happy New Year to all Pacers

call St. Judes number they should have one you can call and tell them what the monitor is doing they should be able to answer your question as to what is going on. Thier number should be in the book you recieved with the monitor.

Medics don't listen

I have been having problems with my PM for some time. I struggle to do any sort of exercise such as hoovering, mowing the lawn etc. My heart rate never goes above 70 bpm. I have had a check this morning and I get told my PM is working fine. The only thing my PM does is keep me alive I don't have a good quality of life. I came out from my checkup today feeling a fraud and that they don't believe me. Has anyone else felt like this?

You know you're wired when...
