chronic cough too!!!!!

Yes!!!!!!I thought it was just me!I do have a cough on and off!It sounds like I have bronchitis.My Dr.says my lungs are cleared but now I will question him about my blood pressure.I am taking Ramipril,Spironolactone,and Carvedilol.I wonder if that is causing me to cough.Thanks for sharing!

When I started on my meds, I had the nasty cough and it was the Carvedilol that did it... Its one of the side effects, talk to your cardiologist/nurse about it and get them to change your meds as its not nice having a dry cough

Hi, My wife, a Cardiac nurse & also a heart patient had been coughing her head off for over 6 months. She finally got an appointment with a pulmonary Dr. from the hospital where she works. As she has had heart stents and taking tenormin, plavix, aspirin & statins he blamed her medications. Chest X-rays showed nothing and inhalers didn't help. Finally they did the pulmonary test at the hospital and found asthma beginning stage.
Finally her Dr. put her on Singular which took care of her coughing. donb
