Any Ideas?

Hi everyone,
I just had a check up at my cardiologist and after having my pacemaker check, the nurse who checks it asked if I've been having any symptoms. I said actually yes I am, I have been having, when laying down, periods of really slow beats, where my head gets kind of woozy and then Im ok ( I haven't have ANY heat symptoms since and ablation 10 years ago).

She nodded and when the doc came in and she explained to him and me that there was some abnormalities on the check. Something seemed askew with the threashold.

The issue is that my pm is 16 years old, so it doesn't give them a lot of info. And I had it put in when i was 11 so Im unaware of when and if it paces.

My question is, has anyone else had similar experinces, and if so what was the outcome? I have an even monitor so hopefully I will know something soon! Thanks for reading!

Have they mentioned getting a new one? The symptoms could be the battery getting low. Your battery life is amazing! I got my first one the same time you got yours, I'm on #4 now, lol.

Thank You

Thank you both. The doc didn't want to jump to any conclusions as the ancient pm doesn't give him much info. As for the battery, its ok. But apparently it could be having other issues. I have a sinking feeling that I might need a new one. I'll keep you posted!

replacement is easy

If you need it replaced, it's no big deal! They go in the exact same place and open the same pocket, so they're going through scar tissue. Can you say numb?! The last two times, I was home fixing my own lunch. And the last time I left for Key West three days later. I stayed off the waverunners, but other than that I did everything I originally planned to do.

You know you're wired when...

You have a maintenance schedule just like your car.
