Clarisonic 2

Hello everyone!
Hope you are all doing well. Wondering if anyone has a Clarisonic? (facial cleansing system)- I just got one, I researched online if it is pacemaker safe and it says it is as it uses sonic frequency but where my concern is the charger. The handle is a magnet, and adheres to the charger to charge.
Thank you in advance!
Best,
Angie

Call the company

You can always call the company that made your device, for ex: Boston Scientific or Medtronic. They are usually very helpful.

Thank you! I think I will do that after a lot of research on line and no straight answer :) I was hoping someone had one and it had already been cleared by their Dr! :)

Using Clarisonic with no problem

Hi buttrflz:
I called both the Clarisonic and my PM manufacturer (St. Jude's Medical)! Clarisonic said to call the PM people, but that they had no contraindications. The PM rep told me they have no conclusive data on Clarisonic.
Then I realized I have been using my Clarisonic toothbrush without thinking about any fields.
I tried the face cleansing system and if there were any unwanted side effects I would discontinue.
I have been using it for a month, have no side effects, but I do hold the unit in my right hand and angle the handle away from my left side. The handle is never close to my PM ( I actually measured the distance with measuring tape) and the closest point ( lasting only 10 seconds) is 9+ inches.
Hope this helps!

You know you're wired when...

You prefer rechargeable batteries.

I just want to share about the quality of life after my pacemaker, and hopefully increase awareness that lifestyles do not have to be drastically modified just because we are pacemaker recipients.
