removal of fractured lead

My cardio has suggested that when I have my leads replaced that I have my old leads removed. Can anyone give me more info on the procedures they do these days to remove old leads.

If you do a search for "extraction" you'll find a number of members here who have had it done. Make sure your surgeon does at least 100 per year, you don't want anyone less experienced than that. Good luck!
