phew!

Just got home from having my new little buddy fitted - I'm fortunate in that all trace of aprehension has now gone and now I just need to get used to it!

My scar is aching a bit and my shoulder is a bit stiff but I find I can type with both hands easily enough and I'm not stretching my left arm too far (gotta keep those leads in place!)

Not ashamed to say my wife and I both wept tears of relief and joy today when it was all over - it's been a hard month waiting for the op which has been a bit of an albatross for us, but all is well now and we realise we didn't really have all that much to worry about!

Thank you all for the messages of support and reassurance, helped a lot :)

Neil.

Well done Neil ( and wife), the waiting is always the worst l think. If l was you l would make the most of this good weather we have at the moment while you have a valid excuse because pretty soon you will be feeling the benefit of your little buddy, so put your feet up & enjoy the rest while you can :)
Wishing you well, Sue X

I agree with Sue. Take it easy and Heal, and then get back to enjoying life!

Happy for you!
