It depends a lot on where they put the implant. Mine was just under the skin below my clavicle on the left side. I never did have any serious soreness. If it was placed under a muscle or breast tissue for cosmetic reasons it can be quite different. There can be some minor soreness with unusual movement that can last for a month or so.
By now you probably noticed that it is nearly impossible to say what is normal.
The only thing to be concerned about is if there are signs of infection like inflammation, fever, chills, etc. Then it is time to get some help.
