Dizzy Etc.

Hi All,
Back again. I got my 2nd PM placed in mid-January this year. Everything was going along swimmingly except for the dizzy/light-headed stuff.
One morning, after a normal swim practice, I collapsed while walking to my car and ended up in the hospital for a couple days while the figured out what happened - I got banged up a bit - my head(I guess) hit the pavement.
So, I have to hydrate (thank you TraceyE and Pookie) all the time. I am usually drinking Powerade Zero before, during, and after swim practice (an throughout the day). I sure do pee a lot and wonder how much am I really absorbing.
My pacemaker lady started some re-tuning(after consulting Guidant/Boston Scientific and my cardiologist) during my stay in the hospital.
Another thing my wife has be doing is eating (thank you TraceyE) before swim practice. that was/is a harder one because swim practice starts at 5:45AM. I do manage to eat 2 or 3 bananas while I am driving to the pool and I also start drinking my electrolytes.
More later ...... I think if I try to type more, I will get thrown out like I did 3 times before.
Later,
richan

I am just thankful that I am alive and that even though I have this pacemaker it is not the end of the world.
