Dizzy Etc.

Hi All,
I might be able to get it all in this time.
I had a tune-up visit with my pacemaker lady about 2 weeks ago. They are all cautious when doing this stuff - one or two small tweeks at a time. She told me that if they do a bunch of changes, then it would be very difficult to tell what adjustments actually helped. I am to "use" it for a few weeks and then call to schedule for some more tweeking. She told me that my new PM has a minute vent (I think that is what she called it) adjustment that gets my heart rate to increase in response to breathing. It seems to help in swimming - although I still hyperventilate a lot. However, my ability to keep up with the kids has improved. Like BillMFI I am the old fart in my swimming lane (actually, on our whole team). I will turn 71 in a few months. Most of the swimmers are "kids" (30's and 40's). Anyhow, I will be seeing my pacemaker lady late next week for some more tweeking.
So far, I don't get worse than an occasional brown-out (thank you cruz - what a great description) which I am able to handle - although I don't like getting them.
One more thing; my cardiologist has me taking midodrine to prevent the bottom from dropping out of my BP. So, do any of you take a med for dizzy stuff or low BP? If so, what is it?
I don't know, Pookie/Renee, it is kinda what we have.

Peace,
richan
