I feel mine

Or at least I did initially. Its hard to describe the sensation, kind of like a small tick. As time has passed (almost a year since implant) I notice it less and less.
I was told at my first checkup I was being paced at 10 and 18% which would approximately correspond to the number of times I felt the sensations.

I reported the sensation to the tech and she didn't argue that I was feeling my PM at work.

Should Not

Feel your PM when it's pacing/funtioning properly. Personally I have never felt mine pacing. Now maybe that could be cause I'm paced 100% of the time. Have you talked to your doctor about this? There have been recent posts about this topic and I remember some said they did and there were some great examples/possibilities for this. None of which I can remember in detail. Have you tried searching the topic using the search function in the upper right corner? You can even log in and scroll down and the most recent post on the topic may still be listed. If it happened while you were exercising your PM may need to be adjusted, or maybe what you are feeling are PVC's (also can search for more info on PVC), etc.. But...I think most important is to let your physician know about it. They can tell you for sure what is happening and resolve the issue.

I'm sure another member will post and give a little more detail than I of what you may be feeling.

Take care,
Heidi

Yes, I do

My pacemaker is rate responsive. I initially was unaware of pacing but since some complications, placement of epicardial leads and one being reprogrammed to unipolar I can be very aware. It can be extremely uncomfortable/painful and can cause a pectoral muscle twitch. I complained to my cardiologist for quite some time about this. He eventually played with settings and turned voltage down which has made it easier to bare. Hope this helps.

I feel mine too

Hi

Glad I have come across this post to be honest, I have felt mine and when I have looked on the internet it stated that I would NOT feel the pacemaker working.... So glad to hear others are also feeling that ticking/flicking ha ha im not going crazy.

I can sometimes just be relaxing and it kicks off, or walk to the kitchen and bang it starts. I guess its more annoying and really isn't painful at all.

Got mine fitted November 2011 and felt amazing for the first 8 weeks, just starting to get a few of the old symptoms back though, tiredness, loads of palpitations and pain in right side of neck, May be it needs adjusting, will get an app with Doctor i guess.

So, my advice is to go about your daily routine and forget that you have a pacemaker implanted in your body.
