When do you know??

I am three weeks in & feeling great. Other than when the Doc says so, when do you know oif you are "good to go"? Any hockey players have insights into shoulder pad choices --> I have been told that playing is not an issue, but I must upgrade my pads --> suggestions?

Doc Says "Go Fir It"

All teams & tournaments are "techincally no contact" and for the most part with guys that have played at a relatively high level --> they know HOW to play. Doc & cardiologist are supportive, "as long I I don't do anything stupid". Did get new shoulder pads; one of our goalies makes masks for various levels, including NHL, and he made and attached a kevlar laminate insert to add extra protection to the implant area. Seems to be working well --> I no longer get any preferential treatment from my teammates or the opposition so my post implant sciring streak is returning to pre-implant level. In short, so far so good.

OK to play...?

I was just browsing through this section and the hockey thing caught my eye. I was told to give up playing hockey by my EP. I have no other physical restrictions though, the concern is about the full-contact nature of the sport. What did your doc say about it?

You know you're wired when...

You need to be re-booted each morning.
