Doing Great!

Forgot to mention that I am doing well. Came home Friday & am always glad to be back in my home with my hubby and especially my dog. They really get you up and going with a joint replacement these days! More pain this time than with the right one 4 years ago but the left was ever so much more involved (a train wreck as the surgeon said). Should not have waited so long. Anyway, it is now behind me and I am so happy, looking forward to a quick recovery. Physical therapy in the hospital began Weds. morning and was intense right up to discharge. Tomorrow the PT will make a home visit to continue. Hope this all makes sense because it is not in order of events. Thanks again everyone for your caring & support.

do as they tell you but not MORE!!!. They (the PT) knows what and how to work you but being in the medical field at times makes one doctor themselves. Please don't do this, take things at a good and practical pace but just because you are now the bionic woman ----you don't need to show us all your strength just yet. Even she took time to get used to her new parts. LOL. Trying to keep things light but I really want you to get better and not have any setbacks.

good solid advice

Dorothy says it so well doesn't she? lol
I hope PT goes well for you and that you will be able to run 3 miles in no time.
Should I visit? Need a coach? It will be like one of those Lamaze Classes.
"Breathe! hhhheee hhhee, whooooo"

Anyway, you have many people praying for you, as you can see. I wish you the best recovery! You're in my prayers.

I finished 29th in London in 2 hours 20 minutes 30 seconds which is my fastest with or without a device so clearly it didn’t slow me down ! I had no problems apart from some slight chaffing on my scar - more Vaseline next time.
