>>>>Love is a Twig<<<<

Hello people!
a lovely day here in the Uk just thought you might want give a bit of sympathy to a pair of ring neck doves who are trying to build a nest behind a satellite dish on the wall of the house next door.. (all together everyone Aaaaaahhhhh)

The poor birds have been trying for weeks but all their efforts are in vain ...just nothing for the twigs to hang on to ....but they never give up.... evrey day the girl sits there and her man friend goes off and gets her another twig and she always trys to lodge it somehow.. but drops it so he flies back down and picks it up and has one more try... no luck ...so he flies off ad gets another shaped twig and this goes on for hours days and weeks.
Today they finally manage to get a twig threaded through a bolt hole in the wall bracket.... I took a picture and have put it on the members gallery (hope it shows up) I tell you the boyfriend did not like me getting so close he dive bombed me while I was trying to get close... but my brain is (slightly) bigger than his.. he he. I must say if I were him I would have run off with the maid by now!!!!! he is just retrieving another twig as I speak.
Talk about love and devotion I think us humans could learn a lot from "The birds and the Bee's" Well you know what I mean!!!!!
If at first you dont succeed..>>>>>and so on.

I guess you are wondering what this has to do with hearts PM's and ICD's all I can say it "LOTS.
Happy days All Peter.N

Hi Peter,

What a beautiful story. Our friends next door bought two pure white fantail doves, very very pretty. So pretty that they extended and had three babies (ahhhhh...) okay so the babies had babies and their babies had babies and so on and so forth. Very Nice. Does anyone out there want any B##&&"""""###Y Doves !!!!!

Best wishes to you Peter.

SueP.

Yes, Peter N. when we look to nature with open eyes it is amazing what we can learn.

Beautiful story, I hope you continue to share what happens with the doves. I am wishing them the best with their little nest.

Love this story!

Thank God they were finally successful in securing the cornerstone of their love nest! I'm one of those anxious people that would have climbed a ladder and tried to help them rig something up! Thank you for a great start to my day Peter!

I will let you know how the doves do .but it doesn't look good at the moment.... SueP I know what you are saying they do tend to multiply as a rule we try to discourage them around the house they are so noisey from Daylight and then in the evenings until dark. it just was a shame to see thse two struggle and get nowhere.
