use of a hair cutter

I haven't found yet (on the internet)comments on whether a handheld ,corded hair cutter (vibrating blade type) is an emi problem. Boston Scientific said "just keep it away from pacemaker". Any knowledge greatly appreciated!

Just keep it away from DIRECT contact/area . Most hand held electronics don't both a PM if kept an arms length away. I've found even if stuff makes/causes an issue it is usually a HR change and it corrects itself in minutes after moving away from what ever caused the issue. Check your pulse, do your thing, check your pulse again. I've found a LOT of "DO NOT DO" cause me no issues at ALL.

You should be fine. I have a St Jude and my wife cuts my hair (a buzz job) every 2 weeks. I have total heart block, 100% dependant on my pacer and I experience no problems.
