I was with UNUM an American Insurance Company.
They let me down badly using every excuse not to pay up. Thats insurance companies for you. Good luck with your claim. If you are with UNUM I should forget it. Cheers Peter

Where do you guys live and why do u have insurance if it wont pay for hospital? I thought the idea for paying insurance health anyways was to help pay for medical related things. I guess I must have a great insurance polociy then. If I wouldnt have had in aug and sept I wouldnt have anything because there is no way I could have paid for all the things I went thru.

This is normal if you live in the US. Just look at the long list of exclusions that come with the insurance policy.

Currently I am trying to find out how much an atrial ablation surgery will cost. On some of the doctor visits the insurance company claimed the doctor charged more than they allow for a doctors visit. The will probably do this with the hospital bill if I do the surgery.

You know you're wired when...

You prefer rechargeable batteries.

My pacemaker was installed in 1998 and I have not felt better. The mental part is the toughest.
