canada day

to-day is canada day july.ist 2007. in 1967 i was 25 and our son was born in march and so therefore we had a centennial baby because that year was canada's 100th birthday. our youngest is now 40. pierre trudeau was in power and life was good. here we are all these years later and life is still good except for the awful threat over our heads that at any time another disaster like 9/11 could happen. so far the world has been able to deter the action of these people. they are doing a good job but we are not so naive to believe they will be able to forever. anyway we march on and live our free lives as to lay down and die would allow them to win i wish all the canadians at the club a happy happy canada day. it is cooler here much too cool for what we are accustomed too but that will not stop us from celebrating. happy canada day once again take care jessie.

Happy Canada Day

Hello Jessie,
Happy Canada Day. I assume you are telling us about your adopted son, since you say he is 40. I’m sure he must be adopted since you never sound like you are more than 30.

Hi Jessie - Thank you for the Canadian history lesson and a little insight into your country. When we lived in the Pacific NW we crossed the border several times into BC but never went any further - I regret that we did not. WE all feel as you do I think - life is really good but there is always that threat hanging over our heads of another 9/11. Take care of yourself and enjoy the cooler weather. Here in So CA it is really heating up! Good swimming weather but I cannot go in the pool until the surgeon clears my knee incision which I think is beautifully healed! God bless you and your family.
