I have been a member of Mended Hearts in California for seven years.
I am the only person in their data base that had cardiac arrest & survived to tell my story. I had a near death experience, hover over my body watch them work on me, Then the doctor intubate & I had a flat line called by a nurse. Then I was before the most brilliant light. It was a life changing event.
My Metronic Kappa pacer just died out two weeks ago after seven & half years of constant pacing full time.
I got replaced with Metronic Adapta, state of the art pacer so I hear by the nurses in clinic.
Good luch to everyone, keep the faith & believe me, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Light at the end of the tunnel

Hi.. I too had that same experience. My heart stopped completely and I went into this shiny tunnel with a beautiful orange yellow pink light at the end. I was not afraid and I had no pain at all. In the middle of the tunnel was a guy with a book and he said "Hay, look at this". In the book were paintings that I had done of my life. There he said " Now look at this." He showed me many empty pages, I looked at him and said, "Oh that means that I need to be really calm, doesn't it? At that moment I flipped back out of the tunnel and I heard the tech say, she's back! I opened my eyes and started singing blue skies, nothing but blue skies. As I looked around the room at all the people there, I knew that I would be OK as I was very calm and filled with that loving light. And I am OK now.. more pages to fill, more people to love and many paced days ahead.
