Hi Jessie - Thank you so much for the lovely memories! Yes, I remember those good old days when we could actually understand most?????? of the worlds, except for Tutti Frutti! The other evening we were watching a show on TV - don't know what it is called - but Little Richard was actually on the show that featured a Little Richard impersonator. LR still has it after all these years! Oh, yes, "Those Were the Days, My Friend", "We thought they'd never end". Do you remember that one?

Wow Maureen after reading that I am going to "Rock around the clock tonite"-put on my" Blue suede shoes" and go and wake up" Peggy Sue" and say" Lets do the twist" and then go and" Have a beer with Duncan"Then I.might hop on a plane and go to 'Galway Bay" and then sing my life away 'Underneath the Arches"
"Thanks for the Memories"That was "My happiness"
(But as it is past my bedtime I am going of to bed now to "Dream Dream dream. This is "Unforgetable" and I wish my hubby didnt smoke as "Smoke gets in my eyes"

"Goodnight Irene" and dont "Cry"

Thats enough now.-im off to bed!-Kay

Hi !, Maureen,
First Question: Have you been at the 'cooking Sherry' ?
:)
I'm glad you are still being cheerful.
I still remember Li'l. Richard and Pat Boone in the late 1950's performing this number.
How many of the 'younger set' will have recognised the lyrics.
Remember any other 'oldies' ?
Johng

lol lol

you helped me to laugh. when i saw valeries earlier post i remembered the words to it. i don't think there will be another time like ours in history and we didn't know it then. i remember the nuns and priests frowning over wake up little suzie and banning it from church dances. how's that when you look at the world to-day? well this prior post got a few laughs so i would say it is worth it . so great johng and kay you remebered both of you . jessie
