health insurance

hi i am a canadian citized as is my husband. we live in ontario one of the provinces here.a few years aback about four the provincial government decided to follow suit with other provinces and start collecting a health tax. it is taken of my old age pension as is it taken off my husbands. it is about 40 a month i think. even people on social assistance pay this. it covers medical care. here. the government of course subsidizes the rest. at 65 our drugs or most are payed for except for a 6.11 fee for each drug a dispensing fee. my husband worked for a company for 20 years and when he retired we were given basic core benefits till we die. this pays for most drugs the government won't pay. there is a 1,000 a month for dental care,. so we pay little for health care. i just had 2 cataracts done and payed 250 for lenses out of pocket. we submitted it and it may be payed for under private insurance. so just letting you know because we are a small country and i don't know if this would work in yours, this is how we are covered. it does help mentally to know it is covered. i feel very fortunate for this since we my husband and me were hit with some expensive costs medically.oh yes i forgot to mention. we live on the border. since he had bi-pass and i have a pacemaker we cannot get insurance to go to port huron and shop or eat daily. at one time we could pay a flat fee and go now no we now have to shop on the net if we want something say from macy's. we can tho buy for 500 each a month in insurance travel to florida. for a month lol we love the usa but guess what we can still go happy pacing. just thought this might clear some questions up. jessie my spam filter is tedez is that an omen or what?

it is 1,000 a year for dental and then you pay out of pocket. jessie

I have had my pacer since 2005. At first it ruled my life. It took some time to calm down and make the mental adjustment. I had trouble sleeping and I worried a lot about pulling wires. Now I just live my life as I wish.
