whats the point?

by JessiWay - 2010-03-08 03:03:00

So what's the point in coming here at all. Just call your doctor or mfg. Why post? Why ask questions? You should just call a professional. Give me a break!!!!!

Hi, Magster and others,
Yup, they put the wire 30 feet in our yard in the middle of the night. It was a small wooded area so easy to place and just to cover. We found it when we were cleaning up to move.

My DH had no idea what the wire was so pulled it up and cut it (LOL) out to get rid of it. She came over the next day and screamed at me!! When I told her I had a PM and it was MY yard, she told me I had to stay 4 feet away from it according to the manufacturer (I don't know which one). That it was MY yard didn't seem to impact on her at all.
LOL We were moving so my DH mentioned it to her DH and his answer was , "Oh yeah. Well, she's crazy!"

I was really happy to move.

And, yeah, JessiWay. We all come here for support and answers to questions that others may know. My dr didn't know about fences, I didn't know my neighbors manufacturer, so had I known about this site. I may have asked, too.

If you have a question, please ask. Comments like you made make you look "trollish".

Hi,

My neighbors had an invisible fence. Their manufacturer told me I had to stay at least 4 FEET away from it.
According to them, by law (at least in our state), the fences must be placed "at least four feet inside owners property line to avoid potential problems with cardiac devices."

I don't know what type she had, but she simply couldn't and wouldn't keep it in her own yard so we moved (I wanted to move anyway - this just capped it!! ).

Neighbor across the street was told the same i.e. four feet.
I never had a problem though and the one neighbor had hers in our yard for about a year before we found it all nicely hidden and buried.

I have MUCH better neighbors now.... :)

Question

by J.B. - 2010-03-08 12:03:46

What is your suggestion when we start at the top and work our way to the bottom and still have been unable to get an answer? The reason why many of us ask questions here is because we have been unable to get an answer from the experts.

Bad day...yep

by JessiWay - 2010-03-09 01:03:55

Yeah, I was having a bad day actually. Sorry for my moodiness. After I wrote it I was like, damn...what a b*t#h. So, sorry about that!

I think this site is great! I think posting here for answers is great! That's what it's here for. I wasn't saying don't ask questions here, I was saying that it was a bit off to tell people to go to the mfg, not to ask here.

So, my advice is to go about your daily routine and forget that you have a pacemaker implanted in your body.
